Manufacturing Engineer
Key Job Functions of the Position:
Maintain detailed documented analysis to support claims in the project summary
Track and validate claims with ongoing review of initiatives' success to the organization
Perform research, design and development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods and production equipment
Utilize statistical methods in analyzing work centers to provide feedback on issues, root-cause, establishing countermeasures and implementing sustained corrective actions
Provide technical expertise to production and maintenance personnel
Coordinate efforts with outside suppliers and service providers
Qualifications:
BS or MS degree with primary background in mechanical engineering
6-12 years of industry experience
In depth experience with PLC programming using AB RSLogix 5000, process improvement, use of sensors within process controls
Strong analytical skills
Understanding of Lean principles and Six Sigma
Ability to work independently
Design/Build a plus
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
