We are looking for a person who has an unwavering persistence, commitment, passion and enthusiasm for this work. We are a fast paced, growing Industrial Measurement Company with a great environment and benefits. J.A. King & Co. is a third generation Family Business that Sells, Services, and Engineers all types of Industrial Measurement Equipment. The position is embedded in one of our Customer's facility and this position is responsible to provide calibration of all measurement equipment or process assembly tooling. Candidate should possess the skill set to implement improvements and preventative measures throughout the manufacturing process. Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in Gaging, DC electric tooling, transducerized tooling, dimensional hand tooling and preventative maintenance practices. Measurement analysis and a strong quality background are a must. The best candidates are previous Quality Technicians, Calibration Technicians, and/or Hands-on Quality Managers. Requirements include:
Gaging experience in a manufacturing environment
Written and personal communication skills
Outstanding customer service ethic
Exceptional quantitative, analytical skills and PC proficiency
The ability to think creatively, take initiative and manage projects under pressure
An associates degree is not specifically required, but would cause you to stand out
Data entry and documentation into the gage calibration software platform
